Is Investing On Your List of Resolutions?

If you've greeted the new year with goals of creating a financially prosperous year for yourself, and your family, then I'm sure you've looked into various ways to keep what you have safe and secure.  If you venture to build on your earnings then there's a chance you've looked into the stock market.  What a ride that can be!  I've found a website that can answer a lot of questions about the stock market and give you an insightful, and fun, way to learn how investing in the stock market could work for you. 

When you visit the site WallStreetSurvivor.com you learn how to work within the stock market, using all the actual steps of investing, but you don't use your money.  It's a stock market simulation game that takes you through the motions of investing in the stock market but you have the relief of knowing that you are learning the investing tools without the actual personal financial investment.  No risk.  You will learn if investing in the stock market is the right road for you to choose.  And I did mention it's fun, right?  It is!  Really.

Rob and I have been focusing on finding foods and spices that will help us take some weight off.  I've been slightly obsessed with staying on my exercise track (on week 8 now :->) and hope to get rid of this jiggly belly that has become wa-a-a-ay too comfortable on my body.  The older you get the harder it is to lose weight.  What I would say to my 40 year old self - 'See that pouch starting?  Do your crunches and planks now!  7 years from now it's going to get ugly !' I've found that spices cumin, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes and turmeric are noted to increase metabolism.  ( Yes please !)  After a good workout coconut water is more beneficial in regulating your electrolytes, and lower in calories, than sports drinks.  It also contains more potassium than other drinks which is an important component in helping to build muscle which, in turn, helps you burn more calories.
