Top 6 Favorite Summer Moments So Far

I'm participating in Mama Kat's (Pretty Much World Famous) Writers Workshop.  My writing prompt:

List Your Top 6 Favorite Summer Moments So Far:

1.) Going to Black Butte Ranch in Central Oregon for a family vacation.

2.) Attending the Target store opening in Downtown Portland.  (Review on my site:  Ann Again and again Reviews!).

3.) Meeting fellow local bloggers Pepper Ferguson - PepperScraps.com -  and Beeb Ashcroft - SuperCouponGirl.com - during their lunch break at the FitBloggin '13 Conference.  (I crashed the lunch!)

4.)  Going to see John Mayer (for the 7 time ;-> ).  The first time we saw/heard him he was an opening act for Glen Phillips - lead singer of Toad the Wet Sproket.  After the show we talked with him about our city of Portland and just hung out in the lobby for a bit. He actually waited for us to go to the ATM to get cash to buy his C.D. because they didn't take debit cards! Wild. Funny boy and incredibly talented.

5.)  Going to our neighborhood's Farmer's Market opening day.  Love when our little corner of the world comes alive in the Summer.

6.)  Seeing new born puppies.  Our neighbors Brindle Terrier had a litter of puppies 3 weeks ago and it's created quite the buzz.  (See: "We Are NOT Getting Attached To This Puppy").

  1. Wow, those pics of Oregon are gorgeous. I'm adding it to my bucket list. And I've seen John Mayer 3 times. I loved it when he showed off the stylings of different famous guitarists. He does indeed have skills. Nice post! I found you from Mama Kat's linkup! :)

Yes, do add Oregon to your list. There is SO much to enjoy.

Have you seen John on tour this Summer? He was in great spirits and his voice got stronger with each song. (He's still pretty silly.)

    1. Thank you!

It's good to stay busy, isn't it? The only bad part is that it can make time go by way too fast. I hope you're having a wonderful Summer!

    1. Julia, it was like a shopping dream come true. Now, if only Target had parties like that more often. (I'd definitely go shopping then!)
