Time To Vent!

I just came from the gas station and I'm so sick of people who don't know how to get in a line!!!! Line-up people!!!! It's not hard!
Or is it? We've got cars with gas tanks on different sides. That makes things less organized right there.
But still... GEEZ!!!!
4 different ways to get to the pumps, people coming from all directions, people stopped too close behind you so you can't back-up and get to the pump that's open, then they honk at you to move things along!
I can't!!! You're on my ass and I can't move!!!!!
You move!
The gas station attendants need to be more like traffic cops. "You go to that pump, you go to that pump. And you get off her ass and stop honking!"
Why is it so-o-o disorganized?!?
Why?!?

Whew...

Well, to lighten my mood it's my day at Beautiful! Fabulous! Today's post: "Train Them For What?". I hope to see you over there!

  4. This post makes me glad I live in a VERY small town (less then 800 people) there is rarely anyone else at the gas station when I get there.

  5. You just made me so happy that my transmission has been blown for the past year... I hate public transit, but I think I hated gas station lines more!

  6. I love the ones that pull in front of you so you can't pull forward to get out. How did you actually think you were going to get to the pump? Extension hose?

  7. I adore the ones who after you wait for them to finish pumping their gas, get in their car...and decide to ORGANIZE THEIR WALLET. And yes, I have knocked on more than one window in my life asking these people kindly to move the hell on.

  8. The best was when I was at Costco waiting to fill up (if you have ever been to Costco for gas...you know the lines!). Anyway, this guy behind me pulls in front of me and steals my spot when I guy in front of me finished pumping!! HELLO!!! I was freaking pissed. PISSED! I thought my husband was going to have a heart attack. I hate to think what could have happened if the kids weren't in the car. Nonetheless, we had a really great discussion about "karma." I sure hope that guy didn't get into an accident when he left... (geez, my heart rate just went up thinking about this again...weird!).

  9. This is why I send my husband to put gas in my car as often as I can. It makes me INSANE.

  10. I go to a small gas station. What get's me going is when I see the side I need to be on is full, I'll circle around to get to an open pump on the other side. By the time I get there, someone has pulled in already and the side I wanted to get to was empty. LOL

  11. Why does everyone need gas at the same time? Is part of the state falling off into the ocean ~ haven't seen that one on national news yet. Is gas that cheep over there 'cuz it's like $4.20 here? These must be the same people who can't merge onto or off of the freeway ~ now that makes me absolutely insane.
Oh ~ speaking of ... you've been tagged! Check back with me on Thursday. ;)
