Between the gold glass cupboard doors in the kitchen and the wood paneling in our family room, we've got the 1970's vibe alive and well in our home. For the purpose of my '70's theme party coming up this Saturday that's all fine and good but, for our day-to-day living, this look is definitely not our true style. We need to update our wall coverings.
I'm hoping to change the look of the paneled walls soon but I'm not sure about painting. While painting can be a quick solution toward making a change in a room I'm wanting a bit more detail, something that looks rich and with texture. (I hope my husband is going for the same look as I am, or this could be a longer process than I intend it to be ;->.) I've found absolutely gorgeous wall coverings at Atrium Wallcoverings and I believe my husband will be on board once he takes a look at their designs.
This is a project that's still in the "Idea" phase however, after seeing the various styles of design available, I am pleasantly surprised with their options and this project might get going sooner than we thought! I love patterns and I have a long list of favorites found on their site. Once our make-over begins I'll need to take pictures and show you how it turns out.
