Tuesday Truth Or Dare
On Tuesday's you can either share truthful feelings on a subject or... do the dare! (See below) I chose "truth":
So Rob and I had an appointment with a Life Insurance guy last week. I wonder how people decide to become Life Insurance sales people? I mean, these are meetings that most people don't want to keep and you're talking about things that you don't want to talk about. "O.K. If you invest this much then your spouse gets this dollar amount when you die." *gulp*
Rob is the money maker in the family but it doesn't mean that his value is more than mine. However, that's how it feels when you speak with a Life Insurance Agent. Again I get the "what is it you do?" question. "What's your weekly income from blogging?" "How do you get paid blogging?" and "What exactly is blogging?!"
Money, money, money. If I made a lot of money then I guess my time spent writing would seem better spent. I would be more valuable. I hate being made to feel it's all about the money.
If you choose the dare your assignment is: Post a picture of yourself when you just get out of bed.
Leave a comment if you're participating :->

It doesn't cost any less to bury a blogger (even one who doesn't get paid, like me) than it does to bury a professional. And all the crap I do at home? That's priceless, since it means 2.0 doesn't have to.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet none of that is considered when they get out their charts. *Hrumph*
DeleteBut also since then, we as a country, and as just as
ReplyDeletewell, a world, have become basically addicted and dependent
on our radios. Pandora is free (ad-supported), but you can buy an upgrade for no
ads and other improvements. This is a fantastic app for people who travel and it now supports multitasking.
