Virtual Girls Night Out - The Rock Is Back!

Hello, hello my dear blog pals.  How has your week been?  I have no idea of what has gotten into me but I'm on a path of moving my body (treadmill) and writing more (this blog and the review blog).  Just a few months ago I was feeling really down and ready to give up blog communication.  But I honestly didn't want that.  Now, I'm not really sure how things have come together this way, however, I seem to have some kind of groove going that is good.  I'm not going to question it. I'm just goin' with it and hope it stays! ;->  Time to party at our Virtual Girls Night Out!

*The Virtual Girls Night Out is for those that don't have a chance to get out of the house but still want to "hang with their friends". So, make yourself a cocktail, put on something cozy and have fun. Leave a comment to let us know you stopped by. We'll visit your blog and say "Happy VGNO!"*

Time For A Cocktail!

Manuka Flip

Ingredients:
  • 1 part 42 Below Honey Vodka
  • 1/2 part Benedictine
  • 1 part pear juice
  • 4 figs, finely chopped
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • half an egg yolk
  • nutmeg for garnis
Preparation:
Muddle the figs and cinnamon in a cocktail shaker. Add the vodka, Benedictine and pear juice. Fill the shaker with ice and add the egg yolk. Shake vigorously (moreso than usual to ensure the egg is thoroughly mixed). Strain into an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a dusting of nutmeg.
Honey vodka?  Delicious :->

  1. What a FUN idea! I love it! I know what you mean about getting down on blogging. I've been there. I've come close to quitting. But I just couldn't do it.

Thank you so much for joining The Mom Pledge and participating in our blog hop (Where I am stopping by from)! Happy to have you!

Now, wait. I'm supposed to have a drink while I'm doing this. It is Friday night after all. Need to go get on that...

Look forward to getting to know you better! :)

  2. Hi there!! Just letting you know I stopped by. Not sure I would ever be motivated enough to muddle a fig but ironically I just wrote about drinks earlier this week! No muddling involved, just drinking! Look forward to connecting with you again in the future! My drinks post: http://waytenmom.blogspot.com/2011/11/drink-up-mama-kat-writing-prompt.html
