And hopefully we gain more exposure for your blog - that's the intent of the VGNO. So get on your bunny slippers, make yourself a cocktail add your blog link and have fun! Join the Traveling Heart-Shaped Rock Project (details below).  Happy VGNO!*

Time For Some Tunes!

Mumford and Sons "Little Lion Man"

Time For The Traveling Heart-Shaped Rock Project!

Has the rock made it to you yet Brenda "The ChacoGirl" all the way in Paraguay?  How exciting!  When it reaches Brenda it's on it's way to Carolee "Come On Home" in Pennellville, NY.  Then we have Mary, and Martha and Wendy... who's next???

How can you, you lovely blogging person, take part in the Traveling Heart-Shaped Rock Project you ask? Here's what you do:

*E-mail your name & address to annharrison@comcast.net. The rock will be mailed to you from it's last glamorous visit with a blogger. Once you receive our little heart-shaped gem...

take a picture of it with something that represents you; it could be an object, a place, whatever you like. Then... post the picture on your blog; let your readers know you are participating in The Traveling Heart-Shaped Rock Project. Let me know when you receive our little gem; I'll send you the name & address of the next blogger to mail the little gem to.

On and on it goes! I'll be sharing T.H.S.R.P. pics on my blog as well. At the end of it's journey I'll create a slideshow of your pics.

Hey blog pals, stay cool!  Happy VGNO!!!

My two best friends and I were going to be attending a High School out of our district. That was stressful enough. To add to this new-ness we wanted new looks as well. K. was going to sport the Argyle and Alligator shirt look. W. was going for 'All Monogram

I've found that spices cumin, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes and turmeric are noted to increase metabolism.  ( Yes please !)  After a good workout coconut water is more beneficial in regulating your electrolytes, and lower in calories, than sports drinks.  It also contains more potassium than other drinks which is an important component in helping to build muscle which, in turn, helps you burn more calories. And my most surprising discovery - eating avocados help burn belly fat! I&#
