Time For Some Tunes!

No surprise here ;->

Peter Gabriel "In Your Eyes"

This song sends my spirit away every time I hear it. Every time.

Time For A Cocktail!

Boom Box
Ingredients
1 part Smirnoff® vodka
1 part white wine
1 part coffee

Directions
Add Vodka and White Wine to the coffee. The coffee must still be hot.

Ummm... I don't know about this one. But I'll give it a try :->

Time For A Question

Has anyone ever had a mad crush on you and did crazy things to get your attention? I haven't had anyone blast a love song from a boom box being held over their head but I can think of one crazy situation that freaked me out quite a bit. I was pretty young, maybe 13, and this boy was out of control! He did all kinds of things with the intention of making me like him but it scared me instead.

One day when I arrived at school, my classmates were standing outside the entrance laughing. When I went through the doors I saw painted on the edge of every-single-stair leading up to the second floor the words "I Love Ann Bibbee" (maiden name :-> ). I was mortified! Needless to say, he did not win my heart.

There have been other crazy times, I'll share more later. So, what about you? Anyone go above and beyond to get your attention?

VGNO "Heart Shaped Rock Project"

The rock should be at Gena's "Relax and Enjoy All The Serene Moments" soon. I can't wait to see her picture! Then it will make a stop at Stacy's "Random Thoughts" then head to Amythest Moon's "Life, Music, Laughter". Would you like to participate too? Just e-mail me your mailing address and I'll add you to the list. I'm at annharrisonATcomcastDOTnet.

  3. Well, there was this really sweet guy in highschool who always picked me up off the floor and let me cry on his shoulder when I broke up with the guy I really liked. He bought me a teddy bear and was always there for me. He was so nice - and I never noticed him. *sigh*

  5. When I was in third grade this guy in my class-David-was totally in love with me...he followed me around, found out what I was going to wear on "costume day" (like a halloween party) and wore a matching costume (he made an interesting butterfly) so that we could "fly away together" <---his actual words!! He also talked his parents into letting him be dropped off at his aunt's house after school when he realized that it would mean riding on the same bus that I did.......Even at eight, I could spot a stalked (and this kid was a major stalked!) I was very happy the next year when his parent's changed his school. But I still saw him all the time because we went to the same church.

    Crazy!!!

    Happy VGNO!!

  6. Oh....I forgot to add....the public marriage proposal in front of the whole class didn't help his case much either! :)

  7. Great movie! My college roommate & I called them "our psychos"...so sweet, huh? I think most of them were more like stalkers, only we didn't have that word then. I thought going home for the summer & not talking to a guy I had dated just 2 weeks before that would be enough, but no....my mom even told him she didn't know my phone number when he called my parents' house to find me, then he showed up knocking on my dorm room door in my girls' only dorm and I got to tell him that yes, we had broken up & I'd had another boyfriend for two months...wow, not sure I was a nice girl!

Have a great VGNO! I'll be back by the blogs after my 2 scrapbooking classes (I have yet to design the pages for...) are over!

  11. Happy VGNO!

I have to admit, I have never had anyone do anything overly ridiculous to get my attention. *Sigh*

  12. Yes totally one of my favorite movies... I never had a crazy stalker when I was younger... but I did have a crazy boyfriend. He was more along the abusive side as opposed to stalkerish... LOL

  13. When I was 16 I "stole" a girl's boyfriend and he turned out to be jerk. When I dumped him, he stalked me (before people called it that) to the point that I called the police. Served me right for betraying a friend - even if she was merely an acquaintance. I never looked at a "taken" guy again! Well, except Lloyd Dobbler.

  14. In fourth grade a boy gave me his lunch money to be his GF. My mom made me give it back. In HS I found a teddy bear and a dozen roses in my locker for V-Day. He stole my locker combo from the office. Scary.

  17. One of my favorite movie scenes of ALL TIME! Can you believe they yanked the clip off the internet? I went searching for it a while back for an old blog post about favorite movie songs!
I was always the one doing the crazy crush things... can't think of anyone doing something like your stair step crush guy!! Weren't you a little heartbreaker!
    Happy GNO!

  19. I had a variety of experiences like the one you describe. The first one was in kindergarten when a boy used chalk to write "I love Susan Campbell" (maiden name alert) all over my driveway. Another boy showed up in a bow tie and told my father he was going to marry me. He was 6 at the time! That one was kinda cute actually. I am embarrassed to admit that I've never seen "Say Anything" and so I have to get it now and watch it! Thanks again for the amazing CD...I love it :)
