I can't believe it. We actually got our Christmas tree in November. That's very unusual for us. (And that shiny stuff? That's sunshine, in the Pacific Northwest in November. That's also unusual for us.)
My little blue-eyed Lily can't handle sun in her eyes. (And that little one in the shade? That's one of the ever present neighbor children who went with us. We don't seem to be a family of 4 any more.)

Beautiful family (plus 1). I think next year we will get a real tree. We have only had artificial trees during Tara's life (it is hard when there is no man in the house to lug it in and out and too and from!)
ReplyDeleteI remember going to get the tree when I was young. Although, I lived in Minnesota so it usually felt like Winter/Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteI like my artificial tree, it is less hassle for a single mom, but do miss the smell of a fresh tree.
Love the real tree! We had to pull the 'tree in a box' out to cut costs this year, but I much rather have a real one.
ReplyDeleteBetter than no tree at all, though!
Merry Christmas~
