Good luck. Right after moving in June, I too will be emarking on a new exercise program.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it, Ann!!!!!!!! I also highly recommend yoga. You'd be very surprise how it strengthens and tones those muscles! Take it from me, your resident fatty!
ReplyDeleteJustine :o )
Way to go Ann. If I had the time I would also like to work with a trainer or pair up with some muscle bound workout fanatic.
ReplyDeleteHi Ann,
ReplyDeleteI have back issues as well and the weight gain to prove it. Good luck with the trainer, I'm sure it will help. It's smart to work with a professional when you have any kind of injury.
Oh, a personal trainer is EXACTLY what you need! They keep you seriously disciplined and do NOT take no for an answer! Both good and bad! Great idea. And good luck!
ReplyDeletegood luck!! I just wrote about my fitness and weight loss stuff too! must be a theme this week :)
ReplyDeleteYea!! Good for you! I need to drop another 10 or 15 poounds myself but I need to start walking. Its been so nice I will start MOnday!
ReplyDeleteI am trying to get up a GNO early this afternoon as I am going to see Bret Michaels tonight and wont make the party :(
Sounds excellent!!!
ReplyDeleteI will stick with my vacuum and dish washing exercise!! I think I will also add weed pulling to it this weekend. Just call me crazy.
Oh.... I really should get some real exercise, but a new ice cream shop opened down the street....
I totally wish you luck! I'm getting ready to join a gym myself - now that my kiddo is more than a year old I need to get my butt in gear and drop this baby weight (and then some!). Definitely keep us posted as to how this is going for you!
ReplyDeleteBest of Luck. I'm sure you'll do great. Trainers add excitement to your workout, if not a little pain. I'm hoping to get back in the game again. You're definitely inspiration.
ReplyDeletegood for you. and good luck.
ReplyDeletethe scale is the devil!!! I need to stop using it...makes me feel bad. I have been good a working out (could be better)...but there is something about the age 40... My body has changed drastically and my metabolism has come to a screeching halt! Sheesh...I need to workout twice as hard now and eat even less...and still the lbs don't move!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your challenge!
I'm about to go back to the gym as well!! It's time. No, it's waaay beyond time. When your ass flaps against your legs...it's time.
ReplyDeleteWay to go! I had an a ha moment recently when I took a class and realized that although I may look in shape, I am horribly inflexible and that my doing the same thing everyday (the elliptical) I wasn't working on the rest of my body. Time to work on that!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl!! More power to ya. Good Luck.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I seriously need to start back up doing something!!!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck! I'll be looking forward to reading all about your training... ;)
ReplyDeleteI had the best shoulders and arms when I worked out with a real trainer! Good luck!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've just recently started following you and I found this particular post. Maybe you would be interested in my idea and if you would help me get the word out I would appreciate it...but if not I understand completely.
