Distracted By The Olympic's Opening Ceremony

My family and I were at The Clark County Fair on Friday night (Yee Haw!) so we planned ahead and taped the Opening Ceremonies of The Olympics. And thank goodness we did! It was jaw-dropping.
Now I am going between cleaning and organizing like I planned, along with the incredibly cool music we are sharing with each other this weekend, and taking breaks re-watching the Opening Ceremony.
It was just spectacular. Did you watch it?

  1. Unfortunately I missed it. We just can never seem to find time for television these days. Glad you enjoyed it.

  3. NO and I really wanted to! I forgot to record it and was at my brother's wedding. Little brothers never quit being pesky, I guess.

  4. We were watching in a bar, so no sound. But it was pretty awesome to watch! How many pounds of fireworks do you suppose they used??

  5. I was able to catch most of it and it was pretty amazing. But now I'm reading on Yahoo that some of the fireworks may have been faked. Oh well...the coolest part was the guy "running" around the top of the stadium.

  6. Hi Ann! I'm still in Lima, and we missed the original airing, but found a re-broadcast of it...it was soooo neat! I liked seeing the guys walking upside down on the globe a lot!

  8. We missed most of it. I tried to find it on line, but the only place I could find it was at the NBC web site and they won't talk to my Mac. Bummer.

  11. My husband's company has a lot of product made in China and it's a real problem because thousands and thousands of factory workers were recruited (bribed) to work the Olympics. But man, it was spectacular!
