Is It Wrong? Part III

Is It Wrong?...

...to pray for rain because you really don't want to go to your child's softball game?

...to have an obvious look of shock and awe when the "snack mom" for said game brings Mountain Dew and Snickers bars?

...to plan on bringing a little of "mommies juice box" in your travel mug for the next sad, long game?

Not that I've done any of these things. Just wondering?
How about you?

  1. Mountain Dew and Snickers! Oh hell no!

My Boy's baseball games are still only an hour and a half, but next year they'll creep up...I love the mommy's juice box idea..if i'm not driving.

I've prayed for rain to get out of a camping trip, so you're good.

  2. If my husbands not home, I pray for rain every night the kids have games- it's been working- there have been 6 rainouts!!! Unfortunately they will have to be made up! I didn't think of that!

  3. It's not bringing soda and chocolate that upset me, it's the fact that my 4 year old gets upset that his brother is getting a treat and he's being left out! Come on, coach, bring a few extra for the siblings.

  5. Hmmm. I was praying before and during a soccer practice last night. Lots of promising thunder and humidity, but alas- no rain.

  7. Ann, this is out of left field I know, but I'm "tagging" you since you are a bright lady who I think will like this game. I hope you'll go to my book review blog, Vellum (there's a link to the right side of At First Glass, near the top of the page), leave a comment, and start playing. ....By the way your new layout is gorgeous. Happy weekend!

  10. Oh, I have often wished for bad weather so that I could rationalize not even leaving the house.

And I'd have to say that Mountain Dew Mom is the one in the wrong - way to hydrate the little athletes!

    Thanks for visiting my blog:)

  12. Oh girl, I pray for rain some days just because I don't feel like entertaining the neighborhood kids.

  13. Mountain Dew & Snickers??? Wow - makes for some pretty wired kids! Growing up, there were about 7 of us who carpooled for Hebrew School - which was Wednesday afterschool. All the mother's rotated picking us up from school and taking us to hebrew school - and that mother was always responsible for snack. Most moms brought like pretzels and an apple or popcorn and raisins - my mother, ding dongs & pepsi. Now i know how those other mothers must have felt - but on the flip side, as a kid I was loving it because my mom was "the cool mom".

  14. I'd be okay with it as long as I got a Snickers. I'll pass on the Mountian Dew.
